A powerful, colorful character known all over the state for his brash brand of politics, Gormley was an excellent advocate for the casino industry, which he helped to grow and prosper, along with his district. Often intimidating but rarely intimidated, Gormley’s interview (conducted at NBC 40’s Linwood studio) is complimented by some vintage moments from his past, in front of the microphones, where his playful actions contrast with his image as Atlantic County party boss.
